A new version of sportiness: the Golf GT
The sporty genes of the Golf are passed down from generation to generation. And they have been inherited by the youngest member of the family: the Golf GT. This model lines up with two engine versions which both generate 170 hp (125 kW). First of all with the innovative 1.4l twincharger with TSI technology, closely followed by the most powerful 2.0 TDI with diesel particulate filter. Both engines combine powerful driving with a commitment to fuel economy. (Fuel consumption combined TDI engine: 5.9-6.5 l/100 km, CO2 emission: 159-176 g/km / Fuel consumption combined TSI engine: 7.2-7.4 l/100 km, CO2 emission: 173-178 g/km)
A powerful appearance
The Golf GT makes a great impression in terms of looks: with its lower-slung sports suspension and striking front end with the V-shaped radiator grille in body colour, a feature exclusive to the new Golf GT. The special 17“ alloy wheels and visible twin tailpipes are further outstanding visual features. It is therefore clear just by looking at the exterior that there is considerable power under the bonnet.
